At Central Baptist Church, we believe that the Word of God is the source of hope for those who struggle with various problems. We desire to help those beaten down by life’s problems through implementing biblical counsel that offers Christ exalting solutions for life’s difficulties. Our counseling ministry aligns with the beliefs and practices of the Association of Certified Biblical Counselors (ACBC). We as a church are ready and willing to walk with you through life’s struggles.
Before we can begin to help with your problem, there are a few things you need to know:
• First, our counseling is offered free of charge to all within the Tri-county region of Whitley, Knox, and Laurel.
• Second, the model of life change we work from requires effort on your part. While God supplies the power for all life change, we must be “doers of the word and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves.” (James 1:22) Therefore, we expect you to hear the counsel from the Bible and then incorporate it into your daily life.
There will be assignments and actions you must do outside of the counseling session. If you are prepared to work and trust God to give you the strength to follow his principles and commands, you are ready to begin Biblical Counseling.
• Third, before counseling sessions begin you must complete the following forms and then email them to our Children and Families’ Pastor, Josh Pollitt at email@example.com. Or, you may come by the Church office to turn in your forms. Once the forms are received and processed, you will be contacted about scheduling your first session.

Lastly, download and read this PDF that discusses the four lies we are often tempted to believe when we are facing an overwhelming life problem. This will give you hope that God has a solution for you and is willing and ready to help.
