Where is Central Baptist Church located?

We are located in downtown Corbin, KY at 201 W. 4^th Street. You can see detailed directions and a map here.

It’s my first time at Central. Where should I park?

We have a parking lot just for you, parking lot #2. This lot is located on the corner of 4^th Street and S. Poplar Avenue.

Where do I enter the building?

The main entrance to our church is located on the corner of 4^th Street and S. Poplar Avenue. You can view it on our map here.

How should I dress when attending Central?

Central has a “come as you are” atmosphere. You will see some people dressed up and others dressed casual. We have no expectations for attire. Just simply come as you are.

How do I know what Sunday School class to attend?

We will gladly help you get connected with a group! Simply visit our Welcome Center in the lobby and one of our volunteers will provide you with a list of possible classes and even take you to the class of your choice.

Is there anything for my children or teenager?

During Sunday School, we have classes for all ages. Before attending, take a moment and learn about our Children’s Ministry and Student Ministry. Once here, stop by our Welcome Center and we can take you to our children’s area as well as our student area if you have a teenager.

During our worship service, we offer TLC for all children ages birth to four years old. All other ages are encouraged to worship with their families.

Do you have a security process?

Yes. For all children ages birth to four years old, a parent must sign the child in at their classroom. They will receive a card with their child’s name on it. Your child will also receive a badge that is clipped to the clothing that identifies who they are. When you return to pick them up, a teacher will match your card with the badge to ensure only the authorized adult is picking the child up from class.

Also, if you are needed during our worship service, a 3 digit number will be displayed in our sanctuary. Each security card has a 3 digit number so you will know if your child needs you for any reason while you worship.
